Here we go folks, the Start of our December online fishing competition.Smile

The competition will be open for the whole of the calendar month.

The competition will run as per the rules in the Announcement at the top of this forum.

Details which should be included (along with a picture of the fish on a measuring device) with your entries are as follows:-

Forum Name of the Angler:
Fish Type:
Length:
Date/Time of Capture:
Location of Capture:
Type of Lure/Bait used:
Comments:

Remember you can enter as many times as you want however you can only submit your longest fish of a species. So edit your post throughout the month if you happen to catch a longer fish.

If you catch a large bream and a large bass in the same month, you can enter both as two different species.

There are two lures packs up for grabs from River2sea, one salt water and one freshwater.

Hope that is clear and easy to understand.

Please post entries on this thread.

They are well built for kicking around on the yak and if you lose it it hasn't cost you much,

Forum Name of the Angler: Funpaddle
Fish Type:  Rock Cod
Length:  46cm
Date/Time of Capture: December 19, 2009
Location of Capture: Wellington Point
Type of Lure/Bait used: Lively Lure small size 70 mm? Mad Mullet deep diving to about 2m
Comments: Nice fish, beautiful eating at this size.  Good fight in shallow water, the lure bib was very loose after the action, it may have to be retired.   Had a double hook-up at the time with a huge cattie, it looked like a shark in the water until I noticed its tendrils, my mobile phone was ringing as well, not enough hands.
